Dugout Lookout Trail
    has a total elevation difference of 3,663 feet which is a higher than average number. This is a wilderness hiking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This wilderness trail is a very long wilderness trail with an average amount of climbing distance
which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced hikers looking for a fine challenge. Dugout Lookout Trail gets very little rain; December is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. You should count on this trek taking about 8.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. There are numerous wilderness trails in Washington, and each one is different from the others. Dugout Lookout Trail is 9.8 miles long; it's a long wilderness hiking trail. This is a two-ended backcountry trail with  
two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and Dugout Lookout Trail in Okanogan County, Washington is a magnificent place for getting out. This is an area covered with lots of hiking trails. During the summer highs here at Dugout Lookout Trail get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Dugout Lookout Trail descend into the 10's. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This wilderness hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out.

Getting to Ogle Creek from Dugout Lookout Trail is easy; Sixmile Spring is an inspiring spot to stop at while here. If you came for an overnight stay Swan Lake Campground is a great place to camp, and some close by water includes Lost Creek.
Long Lake Campground I is a good campground here.
