Dry Creek Trail is a great outdoors hiking trail quite far from Hood River, but when you spend some time trekking here you will feel like a whole new person. The striking backcountry trails of the Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these summits. This is a backcountry
    hiking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. There are so many perfect backcountry hiking trails for backcountry hiking in Washington; one of them being Dry Creek Trail in Lewis County. This hiking trail goes through some very different elevations
which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. This backcountry trek should take you about 2 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Being 12.8 miles long; it's considered a longer walk. This wilderness hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 5,447 feet which is higher than average. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of backcountry hiking trails. Dry Creek Trail is a reasonably  
wet place generally with a great deal of rain; all through December this region sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Dry Creek Trail is a two ended wilderness hiking trail with two trailheads, so trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This part of Washington is always a diversion to pop by during trekking season. All through the long summer days, highs usually are in the 70's at Dry Creek Trail, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, generally in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Dry Creek Trail temperatures drop to the 20's. Dry Creek Trail is a very long backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a splendid backcountry hiking trail for experienced hikers in great shape.

So much exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just mind-blowing. If you're here, you might as well stop at Dry Creek Pass, and if you haven’t been to Mount Rainier National Park, you should schedule some time for it if you're here. Why not take a look at close by Dry Creek while you're here at Dry Creek Trail, and camping at Naco West is always a pleasant experience.
The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Jennings Falls, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Johnson Creek. This is such a fun river. While you're here at Dry Creek Trail it's a good idea to check out Burton Meadows, and Dry Creek Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Packwood RV Park and Campground is a great local campground. But wait, there's more to do near Dry Creek Trail. It's a wonderful idea to visit Willame Creek, it's near Dry Creek Trail, and Kilborn Spring is an inspiring place to have a look at during your stay.
This is a great river. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range. A pleasant journey to The Pothole is a good way to spend an afternoon; get soaked paddling on Cispus River - North Fork.
