Washington hiking trails - Dry Creek Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Lewis County

   
  While visiting this region in Washington it's a good idea to go backcountry hiking too. When you're here in Washington trekking along one of its wilderness hiking trails is the great thing to do. We all need to get out in the great outdoors once in a while, and Dry Creek Trail in Lewis County, Washington is just the spot. Dry Creek Trail has two trailheads, so trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This walk should take you about 2 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Every Washington wilderness
    hiking trail is worth trekking. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dry Creek Trail a wet spot; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This is just one of a large number of backcountry hiking trails in this
vicinity. Dry Creek Trail is 12.8 miles long; it's considered a longer walk. The length of Dry Creek Trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backcountry hiking trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a tremendous challenge. Dry Creek Trail has a total elevation difference of 5,447 feet which is higher than average. Summertime at Dry Creek Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs throughout the  
winter are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Dry Creek Trail dip into the 20's. Some parts of Dry Creek Trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. There are many great wilderness hiking trails in Washington, and Dry Creek Trail is one of them, and it's in Lewis County. Dry Creek Trail is not very near Hood River at all, but It's always exciting to backcountry walk here. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in location. Great outdoors trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are a very good way to see these peaks. This is a great outdoors hiking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies.

Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a wonderful time. Looking for some flowing water? Try Willame Creek, and Dry Creek Pass is also a pleasant location to look at.
Be careful coming to Dry Creek Trail, you might not ever want to go back home again. A short visit to Kilborn Spring is always worthwhile; if you came for an overnight stay Naco West is a wonderful spot to camp. Mount Rainier National Park is a glorious location near Dry Creek Trail, and The Pothole is a pleasant spot. All the outdoors cool things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently. Getting to Dry Creek from Dry Creek Trail is simple; Jennings Falls is an inspiring site to stop at while here.
In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cispus River - North Fork, and why not camp at Packwood RV Park and Campground since you're here at Dry Creek Trail. Johnson Creek is a great whitewater spot near Dry Creek Trail, and Burton Meadows is a delightful spot to check out.
