Indian Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. This trek should take you about 2 days, so better have big a backpack to fit all the stuff you need. This is a long trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This backpacking and hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,314 feet which is an average number. Sometimes this trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Indian Trail is 13.4 miles long; it's considered a longer hike. You spend the whole hike in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking and backpacking trail.
