Briefly about the general area:
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Hills Creek is a good whitewater spot in the vicinity of Cupit Mary Meadow Trail; if you came to camp Shelter Cove Resort is a pleasant place to do that. So much exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. You can run the rapids of McKenzie River - South Fork close to Cupit Mary Meadow Trail, and do take a look at Louise Creek since you're here at Cupit Mary Meadow Trail.
Cupit Mary Meadow is a delightful place to check out. There's so much to do here at Cupit Mary Meadow Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Springs Campground is a good site for that. Waldo Meadows is a wonderful site any time of year, and Klovdahl Bay is pretty close. Edith Creek is a perfect place to visit, and a short tour to Lillian Falls is always worthwhile.
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range.
