This backpacking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Cloverpatch Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking and backpacking trail. Cloverpatch Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This hike shouldn't take more than 6 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. This backpacking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,327 feet which is an average number. With its 6.6 miles of walking distance it's a mid length hike.
