Mountain Valley RV Park is a great campground nearby; do take a look at Cottonwood Creek since you're here at Pacific Crest Trail - section 9.
Put some time aside to spend at Indian John Spring since you're here at Pacific Crest Trail - section 9, and don't forget to take a glorious little tour to Sacatara Creek. Bean Spring is always fun to check out, and Proctor Lake is a good place to check out.
