This backcountry hiking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Pacific Crest Trail - section 9 has a total elevation difference of 3,685 feet, and that is higher than average. Now, this is roughly a 9-day backcountry trek, so it's a good thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. This is a long great outdoors trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Pacific Crest Trail - section 9 is 61.8 miles long; it's longer than many wilderness hiking trails. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Pacific Crest Trail - section 9 goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the wilderness hiking trail.
