to do the job. Windy Trail is in a rather isolated region, and it sure is a a perfect backpacking and hiking trail. Summertime highs at Windy Trail generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the

Briefly about the general area: There's so much to do here at Windy Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Long Swamp Campground is a good place for that; Horsehoe
Basin is a great site to stretch your legs a bit. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the vicinity of Windy Trail has to offer. There are some fine whitewater spots on Chewuch River, and a pleasant trip to Pick Pocket is a perfect way to spend an
afternoon. Windy Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Iron Gate Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Horseshoe Pass is also a pleasant site to explore. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Wildhorse
Creek is a delightful stream that is worth stopping at, and there's whitewater on Chewuch River for all you adrenaline kick people. This site, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Don't forget to take a perfect little tour to Sunny Creek, and a short trip to Chewack Falls is always worthwhile.
