trail glorious for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Hiking here in the Northern Cascade Range is the best way to enjoy these hills. This wilderness trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way.
Briefly about the
general area: That right there is heaps of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling near Wildcat Trail is Lewis River - North Fork, and Spencer Meadow is a magnificent site to stretch your legs
a bit. Wildcat Trail is a pleasant place to camp, Curly Creek Campground is a pleasant place, and why not take a little tour to Wright Creek if you're here. Lower Falls Campground is a tremendous campground here, and Cussed Hollow is another glorious site to stop at nearby.
That right there is a load already, but it continues; Wildcat Trail has it all. Muddy River is a fine whitewater spot right next door to Wildcat Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Spencer Creek; locations like Wright Meadow are perfect to check out.
