National Recreation Area is worthwhile. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Sherman Creek, and a delightful site to camp here at White Mountain Trail is Buckskin Creek Campground. Why not pop by nearby North Fork Hall Creek while you're here at White Mountain Trail, and White Mountain Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sherman Pass Campground is a good local campground.
