West Butte Creek Trail is pretty waterless usually; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. You should count on this hike taking about 9 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. At parts of the year this neighborhood sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. The hiking and backpacking trails of the Blue Mountains are a really glorious way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. Some parts of West Butte Creek Trail are much higher up than other parts of the great outdoors trail, and that means that some parts of the great outdoors trail could be very different from other parts of it. Why not stop at nearby Rainbow Creek if you're here at West Butte Creek Trail; a visit to West Butte Creek Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Little Turkey Spring. Hatfield Spring is an inspiring site to pop by during your stay. There's so much to do here at West Butte Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Teepee Campground is a perfect site for that.
