Hitting the wilderness hiking trails is always a cool thing to do, and Washougal Trail in Skamania County, Washington is a really great spot to spend some time. Washington is a great site for outdoors folks. Washougal Trail is a two ended trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Washougal Trail. advanced backcountry hikers looking for a wonderful challenge. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 6 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Every hiking trail in Washington is worth backpacking. The total elevation difference for this
trail is 2,131 feet, and that is about average. The high level of rain makes Washougal Trail a rather wet site; most of the rain falls through December; the driest month of the year is July. With its 7.2 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry trek. Now this backpacking
trail is pretty long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Washington has plenty of magnificent hiking trails; Washougal Trail in Skamania County is one of them.
Briefly about the general area: Camping at Dougan Creek Campground is always a brilliant experience,
and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Washougal River. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is unbeatable! Camping is available at Sunset Campground, and if you're looking for
some flowing water? Try Bear Creek. Take a little spree to Lookout Creek while you're here at Washougal Trail, and Poison Gulch is also a brilliant place to discover.
