Washington hiking trails - Washougal Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Skamania County

   
  No chance of getting bored in Washington if you like the great outdoors. A lengthy drive divides Hood River from Washougal Trail, but you always have an outstanding time when you're backcountry hiking along it. Trails for hiking, and backpacking can be found all over Washington, and one of these is Washougal Trail in Skamania County. The time needed for this hike is roughly 6 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.     difference for Washougal Trail is 2,131 feet, and that is about average. This is a backcountry hiking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Washougal Trail is a mid-length backpacking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a perfect
hiking and backpacking trail for experienced trekkers in great shape. When you're here in Washington hiking along one of its backcountry hiking trails is a good idea. Washougal Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking and hiking trail. With its 7.2 miles of walking distance it's a mid length trek. Hiking trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are a very glorious way to see these hills. Washougal Trail is a two ended great outdoors  
trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Washougal Trail gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. There are not too many hiking and backpacking trails in this neighborhood. Summertime highs at Washougal Trail ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and the night is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Washougal Trail during the winter commonly plunge into the 30's. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Washougal Trail in Skamania County, Washington is an outstanding choice.

If you come at the right time of year, Washougal River offers some good whitewater, and a fine location to camp here at Washougal Trail is Dougan Creek Campground. Lookout Creek is a pleasant location to visit; why not camp at Sunset Campground if you're here at Washougal Trail.
Nearby Poison Gulch is a good location to go if you're at Washougal Trail, and do explore Bear Creek since you're here at Washougal Trail.
