Washougal Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,131 feet which is an average number. This great outdoors hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the great outdoors hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of backcountry backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The time needed for this hike is roughly 6 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Being 7.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek. Washougal Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies.
