Washington hiking trails - Union Creek Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Yakima County

   
  Washington is a magnificent place for backcountry hikers. There are hiking trails all over Washington, and one of those is Union Creek Trail in Yakima County. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and if you happen to be in Yakima County of Washington, Union Creek Trail is a nice local backcountry hiking trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Union Creek Trail is a wet location that gets a good deal of precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of
    precipitation. This hike should take you about 2.5 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Union Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backpacking and hiking trail could be very different from other
parts of it. This is one of many backpacking and hiking trails in the surrounding neighborhood. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Backcountry hiking in Washington is the perfect thing to do. Now this great outdoors trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. These hiking trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. There are numerous hiking trails in Washington, and each one is different from the others. Union Creek Trail has a total elevation difference  
of 3,404 feet, and that is higher than average. Union Creek Trail is a very long hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a nice backpacking and hiking trail for experienced trekkers in magnificent shape. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Union Creek Trail with overnight lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this location gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Union Creek Trail are in the 20's. Union Creek Trail is very far from the nearest large city, and it's one of those places where backcountry hiking is pleasant. This is a two-ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. Being 15.8 miles long; it's longer than many backpacking and hiking trails.

Briefly about the general area:
A good location for whitewater paddling close to Union Creek Trail is Chinook Creek, and Barnard Saddle is a great place to spend some time. A pleasant trip to Lake Basin is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon; you can run the rapids of American River.
It's a glorious idea to pop by Mesatchee Creek, it's in the vicinity of Union Creek Trail, and Cement Basin is a charming site any time of year. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Union Creek Trail is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Lodgepole Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and do put some time aside to spend at Union Creek Falls while you're here at Union Creek Trail. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is unbeatable!.
So many cool things near Union Creek Trail, definitely incredible. Morse Creek Campground is a fine campground nearby; why not stop at close by Cement Creek if you're here at Union Creek Trail.
