Washington hiking trails - Union Creek Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Yakima County

   
  Washington is a great place for walkers. Backcountry backpacking here in Washington is the tremendous thing to do. There are numerous hiking trails in Washington, and each one is different from the others. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Union Creek Trail in Yakima County, Washington is just what you need. Being 15.8 miles long; it's longer than many backpacking trails. During the warm days of summer highs here at Union Creek Trail get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter brings
    highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Union Creek Trail. Union Creek Trail gets a lot of water; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is frequently the driest month. This is one of many hiking trails in the
surrounding region. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Some parts of this backpacking trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This is a two-ended backpacking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. The delightful backcountry hiking trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a really good way to spend quality time in the fresh air. Of course,  
this is an overnight backcountry trek, 2.5 days normally, so it's an excellent thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Union Creek Trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a glorious hiking trail for experienced hikers in great shape. Union Creek Trail is very far from the nearest big town, and if you're looking for a magnificent location to go backcountry trekking, this is a magnificent choice. Union Creek Trail has a total elevation difference of 3,404 feet which is higher than average. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. There are so many tremendous hiking trails for hiking in Washington, and Union Creek Trail in Yakima County is one of them.

You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Mesatchee Creek is a great site to stop by, and Cement Basin is right here at Union Creek Trail.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff right next door to Union Creek Trail. You can run the rapids of Chinook Creek in close proximity to Union Creek Trail, and there's whitewater on American River for all you thrill seekers. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is excellent! Union Creek Falls is always fun to check out, and everyone loves Lake Basin. Barnard Saddle is a wonderful site to stop at close to Union Creek Trail, and camping at Lodgepole Campground is always a splendid experience.
If you came to camp Morse Creek Campground is a great spot to do that, and some of the water nearby flows, like Cement Creek.
