Washington hiking trails - Tucannon River Trail, Blue Mountains, Garfield County

   
  With so many outdoors things to do available in Washington you'll never get bored. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the wilderness a bit, and Tucannon River Trail in Garfield County, Washington is such an excellent spot. It's a long tour from Pullman to Tucannon River Trail, but many people like to backcountry trek here to be in the neighborhood of the wilderness. Keep in mind that this is a long wilderness hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in
    site. There are plenty of backpacking trails in Washington; each one of them is different from the others. There are so many magnificent backpacking trails for backpacking in Washington; Tucannon River Trail in Garfield County is one of them. Tucannon River Trail is 6.8 miles long
it's an average length hiking trail. When you're here in Washington backpacking along one of its backpacking trails never gets boring. Tucannon River Trail is pretty dried up commonly; December is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. This is just one of a large number of great outdoors trails in this area. During the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Tucannon River Trail. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the  
30's with temperatures at Tucannon River Trail dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Tucannon River Trail is a normal length trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a perfect great outdoors trail for experienced backcountry hikers in nice shape. Tucannon River Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. The stunning trails of the Blue Mountains are the best way to enjoy these mountains. Sometimes this wilderness hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 702 feet, and that is lower than average. You should count on this trek taking about 6 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The hiking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish.

Don't forget to take a great little visit to Sheep Creek. There's so much to do here at Tucannon River Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Big Spring Campground is a pleasant place for that. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Tucannon River Trail.
Visit Bear Creek while you're here at Tucannon River Trail, and you can stay the night at Spruce Spring Campground. Everybody loves Sunflower Flat; Teal Spring is an inspiring location to go to while here. So many entertaining things in the Blue Mountains, just striking. Elk Flat is a pleasant place, and a trip to Tucannon River Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Tamarack Spring.
