shape. Tucannon River Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. The stunning trails of the Blue Mountains are the best way to enjoy these mountains. Sometimes this wilderness hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions
before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 702 feet, and that is lower than average. You should count on this trek taking about 6 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.
The hiking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish.

River Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Big Spring Campground is a pleasant place for that. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Tucannon River Trail. Visit Bear Creek while you're here at Tucannon River Trail, and you can stay the night
at Spruce Spring Campground. Everybody loves Sunflower Flat; Teal Spring is an inspiring location to go to while here. So many entertaining things in the Blue Mountains, just striking. Elk Flat is a pleasant place, and a trip to Tucannon River Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Tamarack Spring.
