Washington hiking trails - Three Peaks Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Lewis County

   
  Three Peaks Trail is located a quite long trip from Hood River, but it is a nice backcountry trail. If you happen to be in Washington, why not go backcountry backpacking, it is a splendid idea. There are wilderness trails all over Washington, and among these are Three Peaks Trail in Lewis County. There's not much difference in elevation along Three Peaks Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backpacking and hiking trail. This is a backcountry hiking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This backcountry
    hike shouldn't take more than 7 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The length of Three Peaks Trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough wilderness trail for advanced
walkers looking for an outstanding challenge. With its 7.6 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry hike. There are so many wilderness trails in this region. This is a one trailhead backcountry hiking trail, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. The total elevation difference for Three Peaks Trail is 1,240 feet which is an average number. Each wilderness trail in Washington has its own character. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Three Peaks Trail while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in  
the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Three Peaks Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Three Peaks Trail a pretty wet spot; most of the snow falls through January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. The pretty wilderness hiking trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a really great way to spend quality time in the wilderness. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. When was the last time you got out in the outdoors a bit? if you happen to be in Lewis County of Washington, Three Peaks Trail is a nice local backcountry trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. If you are in Washington during hiking season you have to go hiking.

I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Three Peaks Trail. Visiting Mount Rainier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; you can stay the night at Hatchery RV Campground.
Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Summit Creek, and of course Upper Lake Creek flows through this region. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's whitewater on Cowlitz River - Clear Fork for all you adrenaline people; a quick trip to Lost Creek is beyond doubt a tremendous idea. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Packwood Dam, and Three Peaks Trail is a good site to visit for more than one day, Palisades Campground is a good site to camp nearby.
