Briefly about the general area: Camping at Big Meadow Lake Campground is always a great experience. Terry Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Mt. Linton RV and Trailer Park is a wonderful local campground, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Frank Matney Dam.
