Not much precipitation falls here at Swan Lake Trail; of all the months in a year December is the one with
    the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. This is a two-ended wilderness hiking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation
zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. The number of trails in this vicinity is not very high. Summertime highs at Swan Lake Trail typically tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Swan Lake Trail nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Swan Lake Trail is in a pretty deserted neighborhood, and it is one of many fine wilderness hiking trails in this neighborhood. This region does get very dry sometimes,  
so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Washington is a magnificent outdoors state. Swan Lake Trail is 1.8 miles long it's a short great outdoors trail. This wilderness hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 378 feet which is lower than average. Swan Lake Trail is not that long but it's always brilliant to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The time needed for this walk is roughly 1.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This hiking trail is a very short hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a wonderful trail for the average person looking for a wonderful adventure.
