This wilderness hiking trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a glorious wilderness trail for the average person looking for a glorious adventure. Swan Lake Trail is 1.8 miles long it's a short great outdoors trail. Swan Lake Trail is typically a pretty waterless place; December is the wettest month with most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 1.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Swan Lake Trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end.
