Sulphur Mountain Way has a total elevation difference of 4,270 feet which is higher than average. Even though this is not a very long great outdoors trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Sulphur Mountain Way has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry backpacking it in and back out. You should count on this trek taking about 3.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Different parts of Sulphur Mountain Way are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the trail. With its 3.8 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type trek.
