Fork Trail. Washington has plenty of great hiking trails, and South Fork Trail in Okanogan County is one of them. Far from modern life you find South Fork Trail, and when you backcountry trek it you're always having an excellent time. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes,
so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. South Fork Trail gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have
the option of backcountry trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. This backcountry walk should take you about 3 days, so it's a perfect thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. South Fork Trail is 19.4 miles long; it's longer than many
hiking and backpacking trails.
Briefly about the general area: Do set aside some time for Hunter Meadows while you're here at South Fork Trail, and Juniper Point is close at hand and always great to visit. A pleasant spree to Hodges Horse Pasture is a wonderful way to
spend an afternoon, and Daisy Campground is a good local campground. Just can't get enough of South Fork Trail. Long Draw is in close proximity to South Fork Trail and is absolutely a magnificent place to have a look at, and it's a perfect idea to take a look at Hilltop Creek.
Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's whitewater on Chewuch River for all you adrenaline kick people. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade
Range. A trip to South Fork Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Stump Springs, and South Fork Trail is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Iron Gate Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. If you're here at South Fork Trail, you could check out Cold Creek, and Bottle Spring is an inspiring place to explore during your stay.
