Trail is a two ended backpacking and hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. Even though this is not a very long hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This backcountry
walk shouldn't take more than 2 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The total elevation difference for this backpacking and hiking trail is 1,041 feet which is an average number. Summertime at South Asotin Trail comes with high temperatures
