backcountry hike, 2 days normally, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. There are so many backpacking and hiking trails in this area. Soleduck Trail is a rather wet site typically with a good deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the
driest month of the year is July. Different parts of Soleduck Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backcountry hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 3,468 feet
which is higher than average. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping.
Briefly about the general area: Seven Lakes Creek is a glorious place to have a look at, and while you're here you have to visit Maple Point. Near Soleduck Trail you come across Appleton
Pass which is a nice location to pop by; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Soleduck River - North Fork. This river is a great place to visit. If time allows, Olympic National Park is a national park worth stopping at, and do have
a look at Rocky Creek if you're here at Soleduck Trail. This is such a wonderful river. Don't leave Soleduck Trail without first paying a visit to Sol Duc Falls, and Seven Lakes Basin is a good place. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in
the Olympic Mountains. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Lyre River, and the great people of Port Angeles like to hang out close by. And that's not all you can do here at Soleduck Trail. Camping at Soleduck Trail is good fun, Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is a good local
campground It's always great to go to Marymere Falls. That right there is a heap of exciting things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. Why not camp at Soleduck Campground if you're here at Soleduck Trail, and a visit to Sol Duc Park rejuvenates the soul.
