looking for adventure. Snyder Trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of wilderness trails. You spend the whole hike in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry
about different climate zones along your hike. Snyder Trail is very far from the most adjacent great urban center, and you always have a tremendous time when you're backcountry hiking along it. Snyder Trail is pretty dehydrated usually; the month of December is the wettest with
most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place.
Briefly about the general area: Sweat Creek is a great local stream. There's so much to do here at Snyder Trail that you need to camp
here for a while, Sweat Creek Campground is a magnificent place for that. Fir Creek is a wonderful place to go to, and if you came to camp Swan Lake Campground is a good location to do that. Russell Spring is an inspiring place to have a look at while here; locations like Gooseberry Meadow are great to take a look at.
