January, and the driest of the months is July. The time needed for this walk is roughly 2.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. These backcountry trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. This backcountry

is a splendid place to camp; why not take a little visit to Intake Creek while you're here. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a fine time. Commonwealth Campground is a good campground here; getting to Twin Camp Creek from Snowshoe Butte Trail is easy.
