Washington hiking trails - Snowshoe Butte Trail, Northern Cascade Range, King County

   
  Washington is a glorious site for outdoors folks. Washington has plenty of splendid backcountry hiking trails; Snowshoe Butte Trail in King County is one of them. It's a lengthy trip from Ellensburg to Snowshoe Butte Trail, but if you're looking for a tremendous location to go hiking, this is a tremendous choice. Even though this is not a very long great outdoors trail it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. All through the summer at Snowshoe Butte Trail highs are mostly in the 70's with night lows in the
    50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Snowshoe Butte Trail. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. Hiking and backpacking trails like
this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these peaks. This is one of a very small number of hiking trails in this area. Snowshoe Butte Trail is 3 miles long it's shorter than many backpacking trails. All the water falling down from the sky makes Snowshoe Butte Trail a wet location; most of the rain falls during January; July meanwhile is the driest month. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Snowshoe Butte Trail in King County, Washington is a tremendous location for getting out. Every  
single Washington backcountry hiking trail has its own character. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in location. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,588 feet, and that is about average. Some parts of Snowshoe Butte Trail are much higher up than other parts of the backpacking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking trail. You should count on this hike taking about 2.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Snowshoe Butte Trail is a very short great outdoors hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a magnificent hiking trail for the average person looking for a magnificent adventure. Going for a backcountry hike here in Washington never gets boring.

Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Snowshoe Butte Trail is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Crystal Springs Campground is a splendid local campground, and why not take a little spree to Intake Creek if you're here.
