higher than average. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This is one of a very small number of backcountry trails in this neighborhood. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety
| | restrictions in place. The time needed for this trek is roughly 7.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Every Washington backcountry trail is well worth a trek. Snow Lakes Trail is a two ended great outdoors hiking trail with two trailheads, so backcountry trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. one of them, and it's in Chelan County. For the period of the summer months at Snow Lakes Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's while Snow Lakes
Trail night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. This is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Snow Lakes Trail is not very near Ellensburg at all, but you always have a wonderful time when you're backpacking along
it.
