    backcountry trekking never gets boring. Smith Creek Trail is 6.2 miles long it's a mid length trek. Keep in mind that this is a long great outdoors hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This backcountry trail has a total elevation difference of 2,573 feet
which is a higher than average number. Washington is a perfect outdoors state. This is a one trailhead backcountry trail, so in and out is the way to hike it normally. This hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is an area covered with lots of hiking and backpacking trails. Summertime at Smith Creek Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to  
the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Smith Creek Trail. Smith Creek Trail is a normal length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a splendid hiking and backpacking trail for experienced walkers in good shape. Smith Creek Trail usually gets a good deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest. Each backpacking and hiking trail in Washington is worth backcountry trekking. These hiking trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are a perfect way to explore these summits.

Plains of Abraham is a great place here at Smith Creek Trail, and Ape Canyon is a nice location to check out. Get drenched paddling on Muddy River, and Duck Bay is in the neighborhood and always wonderful to check out. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Glide down the rapids of Lewis River - North Fork in a kayak, and if you're looking for a wonderful tour, Mount Rainier National Park is pretty near.
