The length of this hiking and backpacking trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this wilderness hiking trail delightful for the average trekker looking for a fun adventure. The high level of rainfall makes Smith Creek Butte Trail a quite wet place; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. Smith Creek Butte Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. There are so many wilderness hiking trails in this neighborhood. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site.

Briefly about the general area:
You can run the rapids of Muddy River close to Smith Creek Butte Trail, and Lava Canyon is definitely a great place to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Smith Creek Butte Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Swift Forest Campground is a great site for that.
This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Smith Creek is a stream that you may run into during your stay, and if you came to camp Curly Creek Campground is a magnificent place to do that. Clearwater Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Lewis River - North Fork is a great whitewater spot nearby.
