The length of this backcountry hiking trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a wonderful challenge. Through the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at Smarty Creek Trail while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Smarty Creek Trail night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Smarty Creek Trail is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Tiffany Spring Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby. Bottle Spring is a great local attraction; there's whitewater on Chewuch River for all you thrill seekers.
That right there is loads already, but it continues; Smarty Creek Trail has it all. Don’t forget to check out Round Meadow while you're here at Smarty Creek Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Chewuch River.
