Washington hiking trails - Slick Ear Trail, Blue Mountains, Columbia County

plenty of supplies. Slick Ear Trail is a great site of typical rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. There are many brilliant hiking and backpacking trails in Washington; Slick Ear Trail in Columbia County is one of them. This is a one trailhead backpacking trail, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. This backcountry hiking trail is a very long backcountry hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backcountry hiking trail  
for advanced backcountry hikers looking for an outstanding challenge. The total elevation difference for this backpacking trail is 2,581 feet which is higher than average. There are plenty of hiking and backpacking trails in Washington; each one of them has its own character. This is one of many backcountry hiking trails in the surrounding neighborhood. Sometimes this backpacking and hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This backcountry trek should take you about 3 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Summertime highs at Slick Ear Trail regularly tend to be in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Slick Ear Trail temperatures fall to the 20's.

Don’t forget to stop at Elk Flat if you're here at Slick Ear Trail, and do put some time aside to spend at Zuger Spring since you're here at Slick Ear Trail. Cougar Canyon is a delightful spot to spend some time at It's always good to pop by Dexter Spring.
This spot, the Blue Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Do set aside some time for Burnt Flat if you're here at Slick Ear Trail, and you can stay the night at Bear Canyon Campground. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Blue Mountains. Take a side spree to Beaver Creek. There's so much to do here at Slick Ear Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Godman Campground is a brilliant site for that.
Beaver Creek is a perfect spot to stop by, and Grande Ronde River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by.
