    take you about 8 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. High temperatures at Skyline Trail all through the summertime are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 40's, and overnight
lows in the 30's for Skyline Trail. This wilderness hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. Can’t wait to get out in the outdoors, Skyline Trail in Jefferson County, Washington is such a good spot. Keep in mind that this is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. With its 52.4 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many hiking and backpacking trails. Different parts of Skyline Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared  
for different conditions on different parts of the hiking and backpacking trail. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Hiking here in the Olympic Mountains is a really glorious way to spend quality time in the fresh air. This backpacking trail is a backpacking trail of glorious length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backpacking and hiking trail for advanced backcountry hikers looking for a tremendous challenge. There are plenty of backcountry hiking trails in Washington; each one of them is well worth a hike. Skyline Trail has a total elevation difference of 5,309 feet, and that is higher than average. Here in Washington backcountry trekking is always a cool thing to do. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in location.

The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Winslow Spring; why not camp at Campbell Tree Grove Campground since you're here at Skyline Trail. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Near Skyline Trail you find tremendous spots like Bunch Canyon, and a perfect place to camp here at Skyline Trail is Graves Creek Campground.
Elip Creek is a scenic stream that is worth a visit; not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Quinault Ranger District. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the area near Skyline Trail has to offer. Don't forget to take a great little journey to Geoduck Creek; Paradise Valley is a glorious spot. Whitewater paddling is good on Quinault River - North Fork, and spots like Queets Basin are perfect to go to.
Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a glorious time. A trip to Skyline Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Service Falls, and do schedule some time to have a look at Olympic Peninsula if you have a chance. Get drenched paddling on Quinault River.
