  Backcountry backpacking in Washington is such a splendid thing to do. Hitting the backpacking and hiking trails is always an exciting thing to do, and Shrew Creek Trail in Okanogan County, Washington is a glorious site to go. There are numerous hiking trails in Washington, and each one has something unique to offer. The total elevation difference for Shrew Creek Trail is 2,639 feet, and that is higher than average. Shrew Creek Trail is pretty arid ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that snows the most, and
    July is when it's the driest. This wilderness hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Shrew Creek Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. You'll have
to go far from Wenatchee to get to Shrew Creek Trail, but backpacking it is always cool. The length of this backpacking trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough backpacking trail for advanced trekkers looking for a splendid challenge. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 7 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This is an area covered with lots of backpacking trails. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you  
have the option of backcountry hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The charming backpacking trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a splendid way to explore these mountaintops. Through the months of summer at Shrew Creek Trail highs are frequently in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Shrew Creek Trail nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Hiking in Washington is so much fun. With its 7.8 miles of walking distance it's an average length wilderness hiking trail. Washington has plenty of great hiking trails, and Shrew Creek Trail in Okanogan County is one of them. Different parts of Shrew Creek Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the wilderness hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it.

There's so much to do here at Shrew Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Salmon Meadows Campground is a pleasant place for that; getting to Little Granite Creek from Shrew Creek Trail is painless. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Shrew Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Loup Loup Campground, and some close by water includes North Granite Creek.
