Knuppenburg Lake Campground is a good campground nearby; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Summit Creek. What a site this is for outdoors folks. White Pass Campground is a fine local campground; do explore Scatter Creek since you're here at Shoe Lake Trail. Hidden Spring is a gorgeous place to pop by while you're at Shoe Lake Trail, and unsurprisingly, A tour to Tieton Pass is always fun. Don't forget to take a tremendous little visit to Miriam Creek, and Devils Washbasin is a charming place any time of year. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. A pleasant journey to Tieton Meadows is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon, and Cispus River is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby.
