And if that's not enough there's a heap more
fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Blankenship Meadows is a tremendous place; soar down the rapids of Tieton River - South Fork in a kayak. A quick visit to South Fork Clear Creek in close proximity to Shellrock Lake Trail is a splendid idea, and if you come at the
right time of year, American River offers some nice whitewater.
It's a fine idea to visit North Fork Clear Creek, it's close to Shellrock Lake Trail, and camping at Shellrock Lake Trail is glorious fun, White Pass Campground is a glorious local campground. Indian Creek Meadows is a great place to check out, and Hidden Spring is a picturesque site to take a look at while you're at Shellrock Lake Trail.
