This is a region covered with lots of backcountry hiking trails. This is a long wilderness hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Being 13.6 miles long; it's considered a longer trek. The total elevation
    difference for this hiking trail is 3,905 feet, and that is higher than average. Sheep Lake Trail is a very long backcountry hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a brilliant backcountry hiking trail for experienced walkers in pleasant shape. Many
miles from the closest settlement you have Sheep Lake Trail, and it is a really splendid wilderness trail. Now, this is roughly a 2-day trek, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. The high level of precipitation makes Sheep Lake Trail a quite wet site; throughout the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is regularly the driest month. These backcountry hiking trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are a really pleasant way to spend quality time in the fresh air. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so in  
and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Throughout the summertime here at Sheep Lake Trail, high temperatures typically get into the 60's with night lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Sheep Lake Trail night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. There are plenty of trails in Washington; each one of them is worth trekking. Different parts of Sheep Lake Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry hiking trail.

Visit Olallie Creek since you're here at Sheep Lake Trail; a short spree to Log Spring is always worthwhile. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Allred Creek is a scenic stream that is worth checking out; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Summit Creek.
So much amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just remarkable. You might want to pay a visit to Carlton Pass since you're here at Sheep Lake Trail. Summit Creek Campground is a good local campground, and Cedar Flats is a great place. You absolutely have to adore Sheep Lake Trail. Chinook Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and nearby you'll find a wooded area called Grove of the Patriarchs.
Soda Springs Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and Fish Ladder Falls is an inspiring place to have a look at while you're here.
