area. Seventeenmile Trail is a two ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. During the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Seventeenmile Trail while night lows are regularly in the 40's.
Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and night lows at Seventeenmile Trail during the wintertime regularly drop into the 10's. With its 15 miles of walking distance; it's a long wilderness trail.

camp here at Seventeenmile Trail is Thirteenmile Campground, and hey, South Seventeenmile Creek is a good local stream. A visit to Refrigerator Canyon is always fun, and Sherman Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. Why not camp at Twentyone Mile Campground if you're here at Seventeenmile Trail; swing by Rabbit Creek it's a magnificent location to visit.
