Briefly about the general area: Grande Ronde River is a great whitewater spot next to Sawtooth Trail; getting to North Fork Wenaha River from Sawtooth Trail is uncomplicated. Don't leave Sawtooth Trail without first paying a visit to Lady
Spring. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sawtooth Trail has to offer, you can camp at Godman Campground. So much enjoyable stuff in the Blue Mountains, just unbelievable. Sawtooth Trail really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. There's so
much to do here at Sawtooth Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Canyon Campground is a great spot for that, and a pleasant tour to Elk Flat is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. While staying at Sawtooth Trail you could always look at Cougar Canyon, and while
