Olympic Mountains are not in Kittitas County... Says Rich Schager
This great outdoors trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry backpacking it in and back out. Royal Creek Trail has a total elevation difference of 5,153 feet, and that is higher than average. This is a hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. With its 29 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. This backcountry hike should take you about 4.5 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. This hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Different parts of this trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations.
