There's not much difference in elevation along the backpacking trail,   so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your trek. Backpacking in Washington never gets boring. Round The Mountain Trail has a total elevation difference of 977 feet which is a lower than average number. All the water falling down from the sky makes Round The Mountain Trail a wet spot; most of the rain falls through December, and the driest month is July. Round The Mountain Trail is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to walk it normally. Round The Mountain Trail is 15.4 miles long; it's considered a longer trek. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be. Don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Shorthorn Creek; Madcat Meadow is a great place. A tremendous spot to camp here at Round The Mountain Trail is Cold Springs Campground, and Cold Springs is a tremendous local attraction. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling close to Round The Mountain Trail is White Salmon River, and Crooked Creek Falls is a charming spot to stop by while you're at Round The Mountain Trail. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Trout Lake Creek is a fine whitewater spot near Round The Mountain Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a perfect time. Why not camp at Morrison Creek Campground if you're here at Round The Mountain Trail, and spots like Bird Creek Meadows are nice to go to.
