If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bumping River,
and Thunder Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Whitewater paddling is great on American River.
Scab Creek is a stream that you may run into while here; do put some time aside to spend at Soda
Springs since you're here at Richmond Mine Trail. Richmond Mine Trail is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Bumping Crossing Campground is a brilliant local campground It's always good to explore Clover Spring. Having a perfect time in the Northern Cascade Range is simple.
Camping at Cougar Flat Campground is always a magnificent experience; Carmelita Basin is a good site to stretch your legs a bit.
