ended trail with two trailheads, so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 1.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This great outdoors trail is not
that long but it's always wonderful to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. When you're here in Washington backcountry trekking along one of its hiking trails is the good thing to do. If you are in Washington during backcountry trekking season you have
to go backcountry trekking. This area does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking trail which means the conditions are about
the same from start to finish.
Briefly about the general area: And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Kerr Campground is a good local campground. If you came for an overnight stay Alder Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and Muckamuck Pass is absolutely a tremendous place to take a look at.
