Ray Trail, Washington

This is a two-ended backpacking and hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. This region does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This hike shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Even though this is not a very long hiking and backpacking trail it's always splendid to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. With its 2 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type hike. There's not much difference in elevation along the great outdoors hiking trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. The total elevation difference for this backpacking and hiking trail is 442 feet which is lower than average.
