Washington hiking trails - Quartz Creek Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Kittitas County

This part of Washington is always a diversion to stop at during backpacking season. Trekking in Washington is always a cool thing to do. Quartz Creek Trail is 13.2 miles long; it's longer than many wilderness hiking trails. The high level of precipitation makes Quartz Creek Trail a relatively wet site; through January this region sees the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. This backcountry walk should take you
    about 2 days, so it's a wonderful thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. High temperatures at Quartz Creek Trail throughout the summertime are in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The
cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Quartz Creek Trail dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Quartz Creek Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This is one of many hiking and backpacking trails in the surrounding vicinity. The stunning trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a perfect way to explore these highlands. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and Quartz Creek Trail in Kittitas County, Washington is a really tremendous site  
to spend some time. Quartz Creek Trail is a trail of brilliant length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough hiking and backpacking trail for advanced hikers looking for a nice challenge. You'll have got to go far from Ellensburg to get to Quartz Creek Trail, but it is a cool site to hike. Quartz Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Quartz Creek Trail has a total elevation difference of 3,413 feet, and that is higher than average. There are numerous great outdoors hiking trails in Washington, and each one has its own unique splendor. This hiking and backpacking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end.

Briefly about the general area:
Horsetail Falls is a pretty spot to check out while you're at Quartz Creek Trail, and Little Naches Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. A tremendous location like Dry Meadow here at Quartz Creek Trail is too good to miss, and you can run the rapids of American River.
These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There's some flowing water close by, South Fork Quartz Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here. This spot is great, just look at all the fun things to do in the neighborhood of Quartz Creek Trail. Little Naches River is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and you should unquestionably dedicate some time to Hereford Meadow since you're here at Quartz Creek Trail. Stay the night at Halfway Flat Campground II, and a great place to stop at close by is Windy Pass.
A short trip to Cedar Spring is always worthwhile, and a fine spot for whitewater paddling is Little Naches River.
