    rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Of course, this is an overnight trek, 2 days normally, so it's a wonderful thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Pyramid Peak Trail is a hiking trail relatively far from Ellensburg, but backcountry backpacking along
this hiking trail is very enjoyable. With its 14 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer trek. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is one of many trails in the surrounding region. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Pyramid Peak Trail reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Pyramid Peak Trail during the winter typically descend into the 20's. This backcountry hiking trail goes through some very  
different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Going for a backcountry trek here in Washington is so much fun. Great outdoors hiking trails like this one here in the Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. The length of this great outdoors trail is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a glorious trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in wonderful shape. Pyramid Peak Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,610 feet which is a higher than average number. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end.

If you're here at Pyramid Peak Trail, you could go to Blowout Creek; a great place like Government Meadow here at Pyramid Peak Trail is too great to miss. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Hells Crossing Campground is a pleasant site to camp, and nearby you'll come across a wooded area called Naches Ranger District.
You can run the rapids of American River in the neighborhood of Pyramid Peak Trail, and a great place is Green Pass.
