Here in the splendid state of Washington hiking is a great way to spend some time. As long as you like the fresh air you will like Washington. The total elevation difference for Pratt Lake Trail is 2,378 feet which is an average number. Pratt Lake Trail is very far from the least distant big urban center, and it is a great hiking trail. This hiking trail is a mid length hiking trail
    with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backcountry trail for advanced trekkers looking for a splendid challenge. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. There are many splendid great outdoors hiking trails
in Washington, and one of those is Pratt Lake Trail in King County. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 7 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Being 8 miles long it's a mid length trek. Some parts of this backcountry trail are much higher up than other parts of the backcountry trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry trail. These hiking trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are a glorious way to explore  
these peaks. Summer at Pratt Lake Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Pratt Lake Trail. Pratt Lake Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This is a backcountry trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. There are not too many backcountry trails in this vicinity. This wilderness hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out.

Briefly about the general area:
Looking for some flowing water? Try Tuscohatchie Creek, and you can stay the night at Commonwealth Campground. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Northern Cascade Range. A great spot for whitewater paddling close to Pratt Lake Trail is Snoqualmie River - South Fork.
But wait, there's more to do right next door to Pratt Lake Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pratt River. There's so much to do here at Pratt Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a nice place for that. If you're here, you might as well go to Hemlock Pass, and some tremendous nature is available in North Bend Ranger District. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Pratt Lake Trail without first paying a visit to Snowshoe Falls; why not take a little journey to Talapus Creek if you're here.
