    trails in this vicinity. This great outdoors trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Pine Creek Trail is a wilderness hiking trail of good length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this great outdoors
trail great for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Being 14 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. For the period of the summer months, highs usually are in the 70's at Pine Creek Trail. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Pine Creek Trail overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors trail is 2,561 feet, and that is higher than average. This hiking trail goes through some very different elevations,  
and that means that some parts of the hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Pine Creek Trail in Skamania County, Washington is a tremendous spot to go. This trek should take you about 2 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Pine Creek Trail is a long trip away from Longview-Kelso, but trails like these are tremendous. The high level of rainfall makes Pine Creek Trail a quite wet location; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is commonly the driest month. Backcountry trekking here in the Northern Cascade Range is the best way to enjoy these summits. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.

Why not camp at Quartz Creek Big Trees Campground since you're here at Pine Creek Trail, and unsurprisingly Bear Creek flows through this area.
You might want to pay a visit to Ape Canyon if you're here at Pine Creek Trail, and a spree to Pine Creek Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Loowit Falls. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. You must go to Duck Bay when you're here at Pine Creek Trail; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Muddy River. Yeah, come here to Pine Creek Trail for a glorious time. A spree to Sugar Bowl rejuvenates the spirit, and if you're here, you could stop at Smith Creek.
Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a nice time. Camping is available at Swift Forest Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Lewis River - North Fork. Plains of Abraham is a splendid site to check out, and a short journey to Harmony Falls is always worthwhile.
