This backpacking and hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 920 feet, and that is lower than average. There's not much difference in elevation along Pearrygin Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole great outdoors trail. Pearrygin Trail is not that long but it's always nice to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This backpacking and hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out hike. With its 3 miles of walking distance it's shorter than many great outdoors trails.
