The total elevation difference for Pear Butte Trail is 2,981 feet which is higher than average. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding neighborhood. Pear Butte Trail is a very long hiking and backpacking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough backcountry trail for advanced backcountry hikers looking for a magnificent challenge. There are so many pleasant hiking and backpacking trails for backpacking in Washington, and one of these is Pear Butte Trail in Yakima County. Keep in mind that this is a long great outdoors trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Briefly about the general area: A pleasant journey to Carmelita Basin is a fine way to spend an afternoon; get dripping wet paddling on American River. Indian Creek Meadows is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit. There's so much to do here at Pear Butte Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Boat Landing Campground is a fine site for that. If you yearn for a little side spree, try Mosquito Valley, and you can stay the night at Bumping Lake - Wenatchee National Forest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. It's a great idea to go to Granite Creek, it's in the vicinity of Pear Butte Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Bumping River.
