Washington hiking trails - Pass Trail, Olympic Mountains, Clallam County

   
  Backcountry trails are fine and plentiful in Washington; one of them being Pass Trail in Clallam County. Washington is a splendid place for backcountry hikers. It's a long trip from Port Angeles to Pass Trail, but it's one of those locations where trekking is nice. The number of backpacking trails in this area is not very high. Pass Trail is 11.8 miles long; it's longer than many backpacking and hiking trails. Through the warmest time of the year at Pass Trail temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the
    40's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Pass Trail dip into the 30's. Can’t wait to get out in the great outdoors, Pass Trail in Clallam County, Washington is such a splendid location. The hiking
and backpacking trails of the Olympic Mountains are a very pleasant way to see these hills. The total elevation difference for Pass Trail is 1,206 feet which is an average number. Every hiking trail in Washington is worth backcountry backpacking. Pass Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to hike it normally. Pass Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls through November, and July is when it's the driest. Here in the fine state of Washington backcountry backpacking is a brilliant idea. Please follow all local rules  
about fires and camping. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This hiking and backpacking trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backpacking trail great for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Now, this is roughly a 2-day backcountry hike, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Pass Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish.

You clearly must fancy the Olympic Mountains. Hades Creek is a splendid site to have a look at, and get soaked paddling on Sitkum River.
Coming to this river is always a good idea. Pass Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Hard Rain Cafe` and RV Park is a good local campground, and why not a little side trip to Cultus Creek. Camping at R and R Sports Center and RV Park is always a delightful experience, and soar down the rapids of Calawah River - South Fork in a kayak.
