  Hey, time for a backcountry trek don’t you think? Panjab Trail in Columbia County, Washington is the great outdoors at its best. Trekking here in Washington is the great thing to do. This part of Washington is always a joy to explore during trekking season. Panjab Trail is a hiking trail rather far from Pullman, but it is an enjoyable place to backcountry trek. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. There are wilderness hiking trails all over Washington, and Panjab Trail in Columbia County is one of them. For the duration of the long summer
    days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Panjab Trail; the nighttime is fairly colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Panjab Trail nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This hiking trail is a
normal length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant backcountry trail for experienced walkers in great shape. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to trek it normally. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Panjab Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. There are so many backcountry trails in this region. Panjab Trail is 7.2 miles long it's an  
average length hiking and backpacking trail. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 6 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The total elevation difference for this backpacking and hiking trail is 2,647 feet which is higher than average. Different parts of this hiking and backpacking trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking and backpacking trail. Every wilderness hiking trail in Washington is worth backcountry trekking. Wilderness hiking trails like this one here in the Blue Mountains are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. Panjab Trail is commonly a relatively dry place; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest of the months is July.

Briefly about the general area:
Put some time aside to spend at Red Fir Spring while you're here at Panjab Trail, and a quick journey to Turkey Creek is without doubt a tremendous idea. Tepee Campground is a tremendous local campground It's always great to stop by Alnus Spring.
Just can't get enough of the Blue Mountains. Near Panjab Trail you discover Cow Canyon which is a good site to visit, and as expected Meadow Creek flows through this vicinity. Why not camp at Panjab Campground if you're here at Panjab Trail.
