Osborne Mtn. Trail is written up as being in Lewis County but is also listed under Pierce County so there is a discrepancy there. Says Todd Williams
This great outdoors trail has a total elevation difference of 3,193 feet, and that is higher than average. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day walk, so it's a good thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. This is a great outdoors trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This is a two-ended great outdoors trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. Being 11 miles long; it's longer than many hiking trails. Some parts of Osborne Mountain Trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail.
