back. With its 4.8 miles of walking distance it's an average length wilderness hiking trail. Throughout the summertime months at Oklahoma Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's,
and night lows in the 20's for Oklahoma Trail. The wilderness hiking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish.

for an overnight stay Elk Meadows RV Park is a splendid place to camp; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little White Salmon River. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a brilliant time. People
from Hood River love to come to Oklahoma Trail, and hey, Beetle Creek is a magnificent local stream. Whitewater paddling is fine on White Salmon River, and why not camp at Ice Cave Campground while you're here at Oklahoma Trail.
