  Can’t wait to get out in nature, Oklahoma Trail in Skamania County, Washington is such a nice place. Washington has plenty of pleasant hiking trails, and Oklahoma Trail in Skamania County is one of them. Each hiking trail in Washington has its own character. This hiking trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. With its 4.8 miles of walking distance it's a mid length hike. Even though this is not a very long hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
    The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 935 feet which is a lower than average number. You should count on this hike taking about 4.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The great outdoors trails of the
Northern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these hills. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Oklahoma Trail. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Oklahoma Trail. There are so many backpacking trails in this area. Oklahoma Trail gets a great deal of water; throughout December this neighborhood sees the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.  
When you're here in Washington backcountry trekking along one of its hiking trails is always a fun thing to do. The length of this great outdoors trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backpacking trail magnificent for the average hiker looking for an amusing adventure. It's a lengthy drive from Hood River to Oklahoma Trail, but many people like to trek here to be in the neighborhood of nature. You spend the whole hike in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backcountry hiking trail. Washington is a fine site for outdoors folks.

Man, is there plenty of enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. A brilliant spot to camp here at Oklahoma Trail is Ice Cave Campground, and you can run the rapids of Little White Salmon River. There are plenty of folks from Hood River here at Oklahoma Trail, and why not camp at Elk Meadows RV Park if you're here at Oklahoma Trail.
Looking for some flowing water? Try Beetle Creek, and White Salmon River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by.
