Near Northern Loop Trail you hit upon great spots like Windy Gap. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Northern Loop Trail is a good place to visit for more than one day, White River Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and Van Horn Falls is a magnificent local attraction.
If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Northern Loop Trail has to offer, you can camp at Ipsut Creek Campground, and do put some time aside to spend at Garda Falls if
you're here at Northern Loop Trail. A pleasant journey to Mosquito Flat is a perfect way to spend an afternoon, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Grove of the Patriarchs. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you come at the right time of year, Clearwater River - White River Tributary offers some brilliant whitewater; Scarface is not far at all.
