Briefly about the general area: There's so much to do here at Northern Loop Trail that you need to camp here for a while, White River Campground is a fine place for that; Granite Creek is right next door to Northern Loop Trail and is always a diversion to check out. Having a splendid time in the Northern Cascade Range is simple. Scarface is close to Northern Loop Trail and is a great place to go to, and Van Horn Falls is an inspiring location to go to during your stay. Take a little journey to Lodi Creek while you're here at Northern Loop Trail, and Northern Loop Trail is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Ipsut Creek Campground is a splendid local campground. This is such a great river. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend White River. Having a delightful time at Northern Loop Trail is simple. You should definitely dedicate some time to Vernal Park if you're here at Northern Loop Trail, and a short visit to Garda Falls is always worthwhile. This river is so wonderful. Windy Gap is a perfect location to stop at close to Northern Loop Trail, and if you're here at Northern Loop Trail it's a great idea to pop by Mosquito Flat.
