Washington hiking trails - North Ridge Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Kittitas County

   
  If you are in Washington during backcountry backpacking season you have to go backcountry backpacking. Here in the great state of Washington hiking never gets boring. There are so many great hiking and backpacking trails for hiking in Washington, and one of those is North Ridge Trail in Kittitas County. There are plenty of hiking and backpacking trails in Washington; each one of them has its own character. This is just one of a large number of backcountry hiking trails in this region. North Ridge Trail commonly gets much rain; throughout January this
    vicinity sees the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. The hiking trails of the Northern Cascade Range are an outstanding way to explore these hills. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit?
North Ridge Trail in Kittitas County, Washington is such a good spot. Keep in mind that this is a long backcountry hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Now, this is roughly a 2.5-day backcountry hike, so it's an outstanding thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. North Ridge Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry hiking trail. North Ridge Trail is not very close to Ellensburg at all, but when you hike it  
you're always having a good time. At North Ridge Trail during the warm days of summer highs are in the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to North Ridge Trail. This wilderness hiking trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. North Ridge Trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this backcountry hiking trail great for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. The total elevation difference for North Ridge Trail is 3,519 feet which is higher than average. North Ridge Trail is 16.4 miles long; it's longer than many backcountry hiking trails.

Briefly about the general area:
Longmire Meadow is a tremendous spot to stretch your legs a bit, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Little Naches River. That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend American River, and hey, Lookout Creek is a fine local stream. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. A brilliant spot in close proximity to North Ridge Trail is Windy Pass, and some of the water close by flows, like Greek Creek. You absolutely should adore North Ridge Trail. A pleasant tour to Dry Meadow is a splendid way to spend an afternoon. You'll need more than a day to discover everything North Ridge Trail has to offer, you can camp at Lake Easton Resort and Club.
West Quartz Creek Falls is a wonderful local attraction. There's so much to do here at North Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, R V Town is a great spot for that.
